newer-older-profile-gbook-notes- e-mail-dland third antenna. 04.22.02 at 8:55 pm 0 comments so far "third antenna - a documentary about the radical nature of drag" what i wanted to say: doing drag, or doing gender if you will, has the potential to transgress all gender boundaries. in essence, it has the inherent possibility of destroying the gender binary. in that same thought, perfomance has the potential to trangress race, and the social boundaries of race. where can one draw the line in terms of what song is okay to do with relation to their own race? race is thoroughly multifaceted to the extent that one person can encompass many races and ethnicities either through experience or actual genetic make-up. no line must be drawn because with lines we create new borders. with respect the full potential of performance in drag will be realized.
